Job Title: Medical Assistant

Pay: $16/hour
Schedule: PRN - Clinic open 7 days a week from 8a-8p
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and patient-focused Medical Assistant (MA) to support a busy, high-volume urgent care in Shreveport. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth clinic flow while delivering a friendly and outstanding patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Room patients and prepare exam rooms for visits
Check patients in and verify demographic and medical information
Record vital signs and accurately update patient charts
Assist providers with daily clinical operations
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 year of Medical Assistant experience
Medical Assistant Certification (preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting
Commitment to providing excellent patient care
