We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator / Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage administrative tasks while maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of communication, organizational, and accounting skills to support the daily operations of our office.
Administrative Support:
Manage calendars, appointments, and office scheduling efficiently.
Maintain organized office operations and supply inventory.
Professionally communicate with clients, vendors, and internal staff via phone, email, and in person.
Bookkeeping & Accounting:
Handle accounts payable and receivable.
Record and reconcile financial transactions.
Maintain accurate financial records and generate routine financial reports.
Assist with monthly closing and prepare documentation for accounting purposes.
Payroll & Compliance:
Process payroll and ensure timely tax filings and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Maintain employee records with a high level of confidentiality and accuracy.
Software Proficiency:
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, with strong emphasis on Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is required.
Proven experience in office administration and bookkeeping (2+ years preferred).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Proficient with QuickBooks or other accounting systems.
Strong attention to detail and time management.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of payroll processes and financial compliance is a plus.
