🕒 Schedule: In-Person, Office-Based | Hours vary based on customer needs (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
📝 Role Overview:
As a Rail Logistics Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for managing and optimizing railcar scheduling and tracking to ensure smooth transportation operations. This is a fast-paced, office-based position where you'll collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to provide efficient and cost-effective logistics solutions.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Track and trace railcar shipments, report status, and resolve exceptions.
✔️ Use Intellitrans Rail Management Software (or similar) to manage shipments.
✔️ Communicate with shippers, resolve issues, and validate rail carrier invoices.
✔️ Generate railcar utilization reports and optimize route formations for cost savings.
✔️ Handle waybill support, fleet updates, and contract negotiations.
🎯 Ideal Candidate:
✅ 2+ years experience in rail logistics or rail customer service.
✅ Proficiency in Intellitrans Rail Management Software (or equivalent).
✅ Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
✅ Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel is a must!).
✅ SAP experience is a plus.
